Since 2019, Metaforum is also offering an incubation site for interdisciplinary research as well as support to a number of interdisciplinary educational initiatives. It is lending support to interaction between scholars wherever possible.
Ever since Metaforum moved to Holland College in 2011, the KU Leuven has revived the college's old function: as a meeting place for academic reflection, internal debate, and culture.
